Ontem (20) o Green Day resolveu celebrar uma série de clássicos do Rock And Roll com a banda Coverups, que montou justamente para tocar covers de músicas que gosta.
Com uma festa na região onde o grupo surgiu, Oakland, os californianos mandaram ver em sons que foram de Nirvana até The Clash passando por Misfits, Ramones, The Replacements, David Bowie, Tom Petty e The Rolling Stones.
A banda é formada por Billie Joe Armstrong e Mike Dirnt, do Green Day, que se no trio verde toca baixo aqui assume uma guitarra, e ainda conta com Bill Schneider, Jason White e Chris Dugan, sendo que já recebeu participações especiais como a de Duff McKagan, do Guns N’ Roses.
