Confirmando os rumores, Father John Misty realmente vai lançar novo disco em breve. O artista anunciou que Pure Comedy, seu terceiro registro solo, chega oficialmente às lojas no dia 7 de Abril.
O artista também aproveitou a oportunidade para liberar o documentário de 25 minutos Pure Comedy: The Film. O vídeo mostra o processo de composição do registro e também prévias de algumas das novas faixas.
