Foi publicada a lista de indicações para o MTV Vídeo Music Awards 2011. Esse ano, a artista que concorre no maior numero de categorias é a Katy Perry. A morena conseguiu atingir a marca de nove indicações com quatro clipes diferente – incluindo Vídeo do Ano, Melhor Vídeo Pop e Melhor Vídeo Feminino.
Em segundo lugar ficou Adele com sete indicações, todas pelo pelo vídeo de “Rolling in the Deep”. Beyoncé e Lady Gaga dividem o terceiro lugar; ambas com três indicações.
O evento que está marcado para o dia 28 de agosto, às 22h, será transmitido ao vivo tanto pela internet quanto pela MTV Brasil.
