Sob o codinome Boots Electric, Hughes lança Eagles Of Death Metal Presents Boots Electric Performing The Best Songs We Never Wrote no dia 7 de Junho.
O disco tem covers de David Bowie, KISS, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, The Ramones, George Michael, Cat Stevens, Queens of the Stone Age, The Distillers e muito mais. Todas as canções foram gravadas nos estúdios Dangerous Thoughts, Valentine Studios e Rancho de La Luna, e têm produção de Jesse com Nick Jodoin (The Coathangers).
