Entre 1965 e 1969 esteve ativa, no Texas, uma banda chamada The 13th Floor Elevators que fazia rock psicodélico com o talento de Roky Erickson, Tommy Hall e Stacy Sutherland.
De lá pra cá a banda nunca mais se apresentou, mas isso irá acabar em Maio, quando o grupo fará seu primeiro show em 45 anos no Levitation Festival, em Austin.
Outros nomes já confirmados no evento são The Flaming Lips, Tame Impala, The Jesus And Mary Chain, Spiritualized, Primal Scream, Mac DeMarco e The Sword, entre tantos outros.
